circa
1900. The grandson that had the machine was in his 80s when he sold
it.
He thought
that his father was about 8 years old when it was made

is larger but similar to Berg'
Ideal Machine
This machine
turns smoothly and fits over a fence rail.
Wood is
full inch thick oak.
Machine
is 9-3/4 Inches wide by 8-3/8 high
Rope Threader
tool is my design 7 inches by 3 inches wide
cut from
3/8 inch thick steel. It
has a
sharp pointed end to aid in rope splicing.
Rope Halter
also goes to the winning Ebay bidder.
I made
it with this machine.
