Master Rope Machine
I like the 4 hook Mode
On the Diamondbecause then the top 3 hooks can
serve more easily make a 3 strand rope

The Swivel and pulley
system on the bitter end of the rope
are my
modification
of one build by
Minnesota rope maker
Tom Kulju

"Bitter end"
of partially made rope is
put on a swivel
to hold the rope stretched
out taunt.
The swivel will twist as
the the rope tool is moved down the rope. The pulley system will
lift the
weight higher as the
rope shortens with the
twisting of the rope
machine.
I also have a "self
walking"
rope tool
that travels by itself down
the rope
before allowing them to
twist
together into one.
For me these work on
most kinds of fibers.
Damp sisal twine is the most challenging.
This was my - first edition stand- finished the day of the Rendez Vous
event in July 2000.
