RCWM EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE NOTES

The RCWM Executive meeting was held September 8, 2010 at 7 p.m. with 10 members present.  

President Linda opened the meeting with a reading about “Leadership Models” and prayer.

The treasurer’s report given: June 30 balance of $2248.47. July deposits included $200.00 (Darvin Kettwick funeral), $40.00 (Dorcas Circle). July expenses were $140.94 gift cards for service men and women. August deposit was $100 (Irene Winter funeral). August expenses $1,006.90 (narthex blinds). September deposit $250.00 (Ron Berschman funeral). Balance on hand as of September 8, 2010: $1,690.63.

The secretary minutes were read. Wendy Guzman and Gary Asmus were added to our service personnel for the July project. Minutes approved with this addition.

No committee reports.

Correspondence: Thank you's were received from Tyson Trunkhill, Corey Trunkhill, Wendy Guzman, Ron Berschman family, Irene Winter family and the North Iowa Community School teachers.

OLD BUSINESS: Artificial flower arrangements are available for the designated flower committees to use.

NEW BUSINESS: Guild book planning will take place at church on September 15. Annual Fall Conference will be held at Hope Reformed in Parkersburg on September 18. Our annual Harvest Sale and Auction will take place on September 25.

MONTHLY PROJECTS:

September: North Iowa Food Pantry

October: Special offerings received for handicapped schools in Burt and Forest City

November: Angel Tree & North Iowa Giving Tree, Sunday School Sack Donations
