Rev. Henry Vander Schaaf Rev. Henry J. Vander Schaaf, age 91, of Holland, Michigan, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Zeeland Community Hospital. He was a member of Calvary Reformed Church and retired as a pastor of the Reformed Church in America after 37 years of service. Rev. Vander Schaaf and his wife served First Reformed Church, Sibley, IA; Prairie View Reformed Church in Prairie View, KS; Steen Reformed Church in Steen, MN; and First Reformed Church in Buffalo Center, IA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Myra, in 1995.  He is survived by his children Mary Ann and Arther Knott of Zeeland and Kenneth and Minta Vander Schaaf of Holly Springs, NC. Funeral services were held on June 27 in Holland, MI with the Rev. Dr. Blaine C. Newhouse officiating.  Burial was in Graafschap Cemetery.
