Our churches are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Synod
"By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;

2:8,9.
+GRACE is the foundation of Scarville and Center Lutheran Churches. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross and rose from the dead to save all people from their sins. Because of this great sacrifice, God promises eternity in heaven to all who believe His Word.
+Our churches have been in the community for nearly 150 years. We have not remained in the same church buildings during this time, but our message has stayed the same. We believe that the entire Bible is the true and holy Word of God, and we trust in the work of the Triune God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - to bring us to faith and to heaven.

**This hour long Bible Study is offered twice a week in the church basement at Scarville. All are invited. The content of the Bible study will be the same in both the morning and evening sessions. The initial plan is to read through each Psalm (one or several per week) over the course of the next few years. This is a study that can be attended weekly, or if you are unable to do that, attend whenever you can.
