On June 11. 2004, a severe thunderstorm produced numerous tornadoes, hail, damaging winds and heavy rain across North Central Iowa. Shortly after the storm passed, mammatus cloud formations literally filled the sky. As the sun set, the whole sky turned orange producing a sight in the sky that was nothing short of awesome. Below are some of the pictures taken late in the afternoon and through sunset.
